SUMMER IN EASTERN MONTANA

Summer in Eastern Montana is beautiful. We have been blessed with over 15 inches of rain so far. Our yearly average is 12-14 inches so we are way ahead of the average. The grass and hay crop is going great guns but many people could not get the crops in this year. Our soil is still so saturated that we have not been able to do any spring farming. Now that we are coming up on the 4th of July, I don't think we will be able to do any farming this year. But the cows are happy.
