SUMMER IN EASTERN MONTANA
We have been blessed with abundant rains in May and June here in Eastern Montana. The grass is high and the cattle are happy. AI season is done and the cows are out to pasture and we are getting ready to hay.
On June 16th, Ollie Montana received 5 inches of rain. They are about 6 miles south of us. The result was Beaver Creek which flows through our place usually at a trickle during the summer, was overflowing its banks. It is the highest we have ever seen Beaver Creek. It is still higher than normal.
